💙🤍 EIC International Program Enhances Chinese Students’ Learning Experiences Through Practical English Training in Bangkok and Pattaya 📌On October 19–23, 2026 | Bangkok and Pattaya, Thailand The English for International Communication (EIC) International Program, Western Languages Program, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Chiang Rai Rajabhat University, organized a five-day educational trip entitled “Short-Term Practical English Training Program for Fourth-Year EIC (Credit Transfer) Students”from October 19 to 23, 2026. The project involved 20 Chinese students who are preparing to undertake their professional internships during the second semester of the 2026 academic year before completing their undergraduate studies. The project aimed to provide students with valuable real-world learning opportunities beyond the traditional classroom environment. By combining academic training with experiential learning, the program sought to enhance students’ English communication skills, intercultural competence, adaptability, and understanding of professional and social contexts. Throughout the five-day program, students visited Bangkok, Thailand’s vibrant capital, and Pattaya, a major tourism destination within Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC). These visits offered students opportunities to broaden their perspectives, gain practical insights into Thai society and culture, and experience authentic learning situations that extend beyond textbook knowledge. The activities also encouraged students to develop greater confidence, independence, teamwork, and interpersonal communication skills in preparation for their upcoming internships and future careers. EIC would like to express its deepest gratitude to Associate Professor Dr. Pairoj Duangnakorn, President of Chiang Rai Rajabhat University, for his visionary leadership, unwavering support, and encouragement in making this project possible. His invaluable support was instrumental in bringing this initiative to fruition and ensuring its successful implementation. Without his generous support and commitment to providing meaningful international learning opportunities for students, this project would not have been possible. The project was managed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Jutharat Jitpranee, with valuable support and cooperation from Asst. Prof. Prommin Songsirisak, Dr. Sirinphan Chuminthajak, and Ajarn Nicolas Randolph Johnson. The organizing team contributed significantly to the project's planning, coordination, and implementation, including student supervision, transportation and accommodation arrangements, logistical support, and documentation of memorable moments throughout the trip. Their dedication and teamwork played an essential role in ensuring the smooth and successful completion of the project. The EIC International Program also extends its sincere appreciation to Xpert Education Center and Siam University for their warm hospitality and generous support in organizing meaningful training sessions and engaging educational activities. Their contributions provided students with valuable learning experiences in a welcoming and supportive environment, making the program both educational and enjoyable. Special recognition is also extended to all 20 Chinese students, whose enthusiasm, positive attitudes, cooperation, and active participation contributed greatly to the project's success. Their willingness to embrace new experiences, engage with others, and learn beyond the classroom reflected the spirit of experiential learning and international education promoted by the EIC International Program. With heartfelt appreciation, EIC Committees
